Arabic version: تذاكر حفل كروز بيكهام تضع كارديف كجزء من إنجلترا

According to BBC News,

Souvenir tickets given out at Cruz Beckham’s gig in the Welsh capital said it was being staged in Cardiff, England, rather than in Wales. The performance took place at Clwb Ifor Bach, a venue known for its promotion of Welsh culture, and was the only stop in Wales during the band’s first headline tour.

Audience member Jason Erickson expressed surprise at the error, noting that it was unexpected given the significance of the venue. He commented, “you would expect them to pick something like that up… being the only Welsh gig.” Erickson, a proud Welshman, acknowledged that while the mistake was disappointing, it did not upset him.

Clwb Ifor Bach has a rich history, having opened over 40 years ago as a members’ club for Welsh language speakers. The venue has hosted many notable artists early in their careers, including Coldplay and The Killers. Cruz Beckham and The Breakers began their tour in Birmingham and will perform across the UK and Europe before concluding with two shows in London.

Despite the ticket mishap, attendees praised Cruz Beckham’s performance, with Erickson describing him as a “good guitarist, good singer.” The tour follows a period of public interest surrounding Beckham’s family dynamics, although no mention of these issues was made during the concert. The next performance is scheduled for Glasgow on March 3.
