Oz Arab Media Meets with Caritas Lebanon President Fr. Michel Aboud

Alongside a delegation from the Australian Federation of Qadisha Maronite Region, Oz Arab Media visited Fr. Michel Aboud, the president of Caritas in Lebanon who is on a visit to Sydney.

During the visit, Fr Aboud discussed how Caritas operates in Lebanon and what its future plans are for the region. Moreover, he clarified a lot of misunderstandings regarding the work that Caritas does in the country, especially in relation to Syrian refugees.

Peter Mahfouz, the Head of the Youth Department in Caritas Lebanon was also present and discussed what Caritas did after the explosion of the Beirut Port in August 2020.

Mr. Remy Wehbe, director of Oz Arab Media, thanked Fr. Aboud for all the work Caritas does in Lebanon and in the world, and extended a hand of collaboration in future projects.
