Omens of War in My Coffee Cup Reading

I slowly turned over my coffee cup and was startled by what I saw. My angel whispered softly into my ear, “This is a war.” Shocked, I stared at the cup with wide eyes and whispered, “Oh my God! What is this?” My angel continued, “It is a war that will happen sometime in the future.”

After decades of reading coffee, I found myself in a dilemma. It felt as if my angel had cornered me, compelling me to take definitive action with this revelation. Sitting alone on my sofa, I pondered my next move. I could sense my angel watching me; a shiver ran through my body. I decided to take photographs and archive them for now. This marked the beginning of one of the most extraordinary journeys of my life.

Historically, coffee divination has its roots in the practices of our ancient forefathers, who often looked to nature for signs from the gods. For me, being of Hellenic heritage, it was only natural to look into coffee cups for guidance. Greeks are renowned for receiving messages from their gods; it’s ingrained in our culture and beliefs. The Middle East is also rich in the ancient practice of coffee divination.

Lebanese coffee is one of my favourites. Although I’ve tried coffee from Jordan, I couldn’t really tell the difference. My Syrian friend knows how to make Arabic coffee the best. I watched her in her kitchen, taking spoonfuls of finely ground Arabica coffee and placing them in her briki, all while chatting with me. As the coffee brewed on the stove, the room filled with an aroma that was soothing to the soul. I watched it boil and said to her, “The coffee should be done now.” She replied, “No, not yet,” and continued to stir and chat away. The Lebanese cups were all piled up in front of me on an oriental tray—cups without handles. I often wondered how one could read these cups without knowing which side was used. But it didn’t matter; that’s the way of the culture, unlike Greek or Turkish coffee reading, where the handle plays a significant role.

I remember a time I read a Lebanese coffee cup and was hesitant about what to reveal. A shape stood out, forming the image of a black owl. The shadowy appearance of this owl was not a positive sign. However, when reading, one must always consider the well-being of the querent. In this instance, I chose to share what I saw, but not in full detail. My angel, however, often interrupts my sessions. I usually have to ignore him, but I am always aware of his presence. This does not mean I let him speak every time.

On the day I saw images of war in my own coffee cup, I decided not to leave it as just a reading. I launched a major investigation and researched my findings, eventually releasing them to the public. The signs of war I saw in my coffee cup are a warning to mankind. These omens are sent to me from God through my angel. I am merely a vessel, channelling this information for humanity.

But there is a big question: Are these images and symbols in my coffee cup reflections of the past, the present, or the future? Not everyone can see what I see. Since then, I have published these revelations and pictures in my books, such as Predictions of War, Prophecy of War, and Coffee Bomb Photography: Omens of War. These images are not mine to keep hidden; they belong to humanity. My angels have allowed me to reveal them to the world. I felt anxious about what I was publishing; it was far removed from traditional coffee readings, which typically focus on predicting marriages and future events.

In my coffee reading sessions, I often see symbols like rings for marriage, ribbons for union, lines for travel, birds for news, and even Aladdin lamps. Depending on their position in the cup, I can estimate the timeframe of these events. My book Alien in My Coffee Cup Reading, 3rd Edition provides tips for aspiring coffee readers, while Coffee Reading of the Gods delves into notions of angels from holy texts and lists various symbols. The art of coffee reading is truly a gift from the gods.

Our ancient forefathers understood that mysteries lie in nature and the environment. In our modern world, we are forgetting the capabilities of the human psyche and its connection with the divine. The signs of war and conflict revealed to me through coffee reading include visions of an airplane crash, a submarine in distress, explosions across vast stretches of land, soldiers marching, and drones in the air. These might be predictions of future events that have yet to occur—a warning!

Interpreting coffee is not the same for everyone. Each reader has their unique style, and there is no right or wrong way. Many have learned from my methods and incorporated them into their readings. If you are interested in exploring coffee reading, try it at home with intent and respect for the process and culture of coffee divination. The best time for a reading is when you are not in a busy place—when you have time to enjoy a cup of coffee with family or friends, or even on your own. For me, coffee reading is a ritual, a part of my morning routine: “Good morning, sunshine; it’s time for coffee.”

As you sip your Arabic coffee, be at peace with yourself. No matter what is happening around you, all will be revealed once you turn your coffee cup over. The universe will show you the way. All you have to do is look inside and see the signs sent from God. Coffee reading is a guiding light, revealing where you came from, where you are, and where you may find yourself in the future.
