Minster of Immigration Meets with Local Communities

Local communities Representatives met with the Minister for Immigration Andrew Giles MP following the invitation of Parramatta Federal Labor MP Dr. Andrew Charlton at Granville Town hall.

Many humanitarian issues were discussed regarding the visas granting process including SriLankan, Afghan and Iraqi communities’ concerns regarding refugees held in Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon, Visa and passport delays by the department, delays of citizenship tests and ceremonies, and the increase in the number of workers in immigration policies.
