East Hills MP Kylie Wilkinson welcomed residents to her Revesby office last Monday for a community gathering designed to give locals direct access to their representative. The event aimed to provide an open platform for constituents to share their complaints, suggestions, and ideas on issues affecting the area.

One of the key topics discussed was the $1 million in funding secured to clean up Yeramba Lagoon in Picnic Point. This funding follows Ms Wilkinson’s successful petition to address long-standing environmental concerns in the area, with the project expected to restore the lagoon’s natural habitat and improve its recreational value for the community.

Attendees also raised questions and shared feedback about the new Bankstown Hospital project, with discussions focusing on its progress, community impact, and the importance of ensuring it meets the region’s growing healthcare needs.

Mrs. Wilkinson said she hopes to host similar gatherings on a regular basis to maintain an open dialogue with residents and to ensure their voices are heard on both local and state matters.
