Arabic version: خامنئي يعلن النصر على الأعداء في رسالة نوروز

According to Al Jazeera,

Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said Iran’s enemies were being “defeated” in a written message for the Persian New Year, as the US and Israel continue to pound the country with attacks.

In a statement read on Iranian television, Khamenei praised the steadfastness of the Iranian people marking Nowruz, which he said ushered in the year of a “resistance economy under national unity and national security.” He noted that the unity among Iranians, despite their various differences, has led to the enemy’s defeat. He remarked on the miscalculations of the US and Israel, who believed that a few days of attacks would result in the overthrow of the Iranian government.

Khamenei also addressed the notion that the deaths of influential figures would instill fear in the Iranian population, stating instead that it has led to a fracture within the enemy’s ranks. He emphasized that the Iranian constitution was drafted with the spectre of a power vacuum in mind, designed to give the system the capacity to continue even at a moment of maximum shock.

Additionally, Khamenei denied claims that Iran or its allied forces were responsible for recent attacks in Turkiye and Oman, labeling them as “false flag” operations intended to create discord among neighboring countries. He expressed a willingness to assist Afghanistan and Pakistan in resolving their conflicts, urging them to strengthen their relations.

The supreme leader’s remarks come after NATO intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran, following a series of deadly incidents in the region. Khamenei’s statements reflect a continued emphasis on national unity and resistance against external pressures.
