Yesterday, the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) brought the community together in celebration of the holiday season at their highly anticipated 2024 Christmas Party. Held in collaboration with Entertainment Park, the event was not just a festive gathering but a heartwarming testament to the spirit of unity, generosity, and compassion within the local community. Other than the many businesses and their families who attended the event, a host of dignitaries made their appearance including Kylie Wilkinson – State Member for East Hills, David Coleman – Federal Member for Banks, and Councillors Wendy Lindsay and Jennifer Walthers from Canterbury Bankstown Council.

The CBCC Christmas Party was more than a chance to celebrate with friends and colleagues; it was a chance to make a real difference. This year’s event included a special Christmas Toy Drive aimed at helping families and children facing challenging circumstances, including those experiencing homelessness and living with autism. The overwhelming support from attendees and local businesses made it a true success, demonstrating the power of collective action to uplift those in need.

Guests enjoyed an evening filled with holiday cheer, entertainment, and opportunities to connect. The spirit of giving is still alive, and there is time to continue making a difference! Donations for the Christmas Toy Drive are still being accepted at Entertainment Park until the morning of 16 December. Let’s come together to spread joy and make sure every child has something to smile about this festive season.
