The powerful and internationally acclaimed documentary State Organs is coming to Sydney this September, offering local audiences a rare opportunity to witness a gripping exposé on human rights violations. Nominated for a 2023 Leo Award, this thought-provoking film boldly declares, “Everything you’re about to see is true,” and delivers on that promise with a deeply moving and factual account of forced organ harvesting.
Produced with support from Creative BC, the Government of British Columbia, and Canada’s national funding bodies, State Organs has earned recognition for its unflinching exploration of a critical issue often shrouded in secrecy.
Following each screening, attendees will have the chance to participate in a Q&A session, allowing for reflection and deeper discussion on the documentary’s urgent message. This is not just a film—it’s a call to awareness and action.
