Award-winning Lebanese-Australian writers Antony Makhlouf and James Elazzi bring you Yalla to Lebanon — a hilarious and heartfelt one-night-only theatrical event that will leave you laughing, crying, and calling your family.
Yalla to Lebanon follows Abraham, a man sent to Lebanon to claim and sell a piece of inherited land. But what begins as a business trip soon becomes a journey of self-discovery, family chaos, and unexpected love — not for a person, but for a country. As Abraham gets swept up in the madness, beauty, and hospitality of Lebanon, he’s forced to question what really matters: money, or meaning?

Bursting with humour, warmth, and nostalgia, Yalla to Lebanon is a comedic love letter to Lebanon and to anyone who has ever longed for connection to their identity and culture. Inspired by the writers’ own experiences returning to their homeland, this show is for the whole family — whether you’ve been to Lebanon or carry it in your heart.
