Over 10,000 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel: Prisoners’ rights authority
The number of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons has reached 10,800, according to figures reported by Al Jazeera Arabic, citing the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority.
The total reflects the count at the beginning of the month and does not include Palestinians detained in Israeli military camps.
Among those imprisoned are 48 women and more than 440 children.
