Music, Dance, and Celebration: Nowruz Shines in Cumberland!

How good was our Nowruz event! I had an awesome time celebrating with our vibrant community on Saturday, 22 March. Merrylands came alive with the sounds of traditional music, the vibrancy of cultural performances, and the energy of dancers as we welcomed a new season together. From the mesmerising performances of the Hathor Iranian Dance Ensemble to the beats of DJ Allen, and the lively sets from Nayestan Music Band and Ability Beyond Boundaries, the atmosphere was electric! Seeing families and friends laughing, dancing, and embracing the rich traditions of Nowruz, was a great reminder of how lucky we are to live in an area as diverse and vibrant as Cumberland. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. I can’t wait to celebrate with you at our next event.
