The Australian Arab Business Council kicked off the “applying artificial intelligence to your business” meeting on May 14 at La Castelle Bankstown where special guest Mutaz Abu Ghazaleh, Microsoft’s Global Black Belt and the AI/ML Lead for Australia shared deep insights into how to apply AI in your business and use AI to look at problems and get solutions faster.
Additionally, Ghazaleh went through a PowerPoint which highlighted AI driven business transformations of enriching employee experiences, reinventing customer engagement, reshaping business processes and bending the curve on innovation. He also explained that we are in the era of AI agents and that we can now assign agents to help business processes.

The event brought many people from various businesses including Andrew Stewart from Stewart Law, a law firm with multiple branches across Sydney and NSW. Stewart emphasized that his business doesn’t use AI frequently. “We do but it is very minimal, and I’ve taken a keen interest in trying to implement that in my business,” Stewart emphasized.
However, he believes AI will help his business in the long term and is still figuring out how to plan on implementing AI in his business. Furthermore, Stewart enjoyed the event and thought it was great and very informative. “Very technologically based with the AI space and the cyber security areas. It gave you a bit of nuggets to think about and see what ways you can implement the technology in your business,” Stewart highlighted.
IT service company TechRam also attended the event and highlighted what services they provide and how they support AI. Overall, the event brought the Australian Arab Business Council community together and provided attendees with a chance to engage in networking, meaningful dialogue and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
