The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that a new earthquake has occurred in the central Mediterranean Sea.
According to the seismological observatory, the earthquake that struck on Thursday, had a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale.
Details of the powerful tremor indicate it occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, located 211 km east of Valletta, Malta, and 213 km east-southeast of Qormi, Malta.
